about the artist
I am many things—
a mother, a wife, a homemaker, a teacher, a caregiver,
a lifelong student of the soul.
Above all else, I am a seeker. A lover. An expressionist.
My life and my art are inseparable.
I write, I photograph, I compose, I create.
I find sanctuary in words, light, sound, stillness.
I breathe through lenses, pages, strings, and silence.
Southern born and bred, I live close to the earth—grounded but dreaming.
I love classic film, old records, physical books, and black coffee brewed strong with chicory.
I cook like a poet: from instinct, never twice the same.
I’ve lived through loss that restructured me.
Caregiving rewired my spirit.
Grief, in all its forms, became both my teacher and my medium.
This space is a quiet offering—
a place for scattered light, fractured grace, and the beauty of becoming.
If anything here speaks to you, I welcome the connection.
Thank you for visiting.
xo,
c.
